Motorcycle Details:
Perhaps one way to describe this ‘50 Chief is, Better than Brand New! If you riding down the road on the way to Sturgis with a group of vintage Indians motorcycles and they are running flat out in third gear try to imagine their surprise when your sidecar rig shifts into fourth gear (Overdrive) and leaves them in the dust.
This is a complete rebuild from top to bottom that has produced one of the best running 1950 Indian Chiefs you are likely to encounter.
Has not yet been shown in any Motorcycle Shows and there are lots of trophies waiting for this Indian to be shown.
The complete Engine rebuild was by Jim Seidell, Westhampton, MA (Simply the best Indian engine Rebuilder in the business). It is a fresh rebuild and the Chief has less than 200 miles since rebuilt, and that was mostly to change the engine oil a few times and make certain that the motorcycle was perfect.
An Oil Filter System and check levels inserts with magnets were added to ensure the engine stays running free of any metal contamination.
