1947 Indian Chief - Older Restoration
- 1947 motor and frame (non matching numbers)
- The bike's original generator has been re wound to 12 volts
- All rubber on bike is in excellent condition including new Indian Script tires
- New o-ring chain and sprockets
I've put 11,810 km. on the bike since 1988 and the Corbin speedometer is in km. Transmission was rebuilt a year ago with very few miles on it since. The headlight is a new Starklite 1948 model so a 12v sealed beam could be used instead of a bulb. The wind screen is not a Indian one, but is a NOS period correct universal style. All leather on the bike is in excellent condition
